3-13 maybe 4-12. Even if Matt Millen doesnt screw the draft up AGAIN or screw up free agency AGAIN, this team is still at least 2 years away from being relevant in the NFC. The Lions will stop being the laughingstock of the NFC once they stop employing Matt Millen. Does anyone sense a connection between Matt Millen and the demise of the Detroit Lions? Here's a guy that spent three #1 picks on recievers and only got one out the deal who's any good (Roy Williams). Rogers and Williams are horrible, and they were led in recieving this past season by a player who was starting at saftey for St. Louis a few years ago and wasn't drafted at all. If Millen has another stupid draft, this may be the first team to have a perfect season...in reverse 0-16

I said they go 4-12 last season and everyone said I was being too hard on them...and see what they did? They made me look like a homer.

It would take some real effort to do worse then they did last season. You just don't see that many 2-14 and 1-15 seasons now-a-days. I'll throw out a generous 5-11 prediction for 2007 and hope for the best.
People talk about Millen, and granted he is a complete idiot, but the problems in Detroit start at the very top. The sooner this team is sold the better...then and only then will we see a decent product on the field.

Even if they get Brady Quinn or Jamarcus Russell or even Troy Smith I think they will probably finsh 5-11. Unless one of those guys have a inVinceable season.

7-9, they will do better next year but they still have to get everything together.
