I have been interviewing for a job for quite some time now and they have proposed a position for me. They asked me to send them a salary request and I emailed it. I haven't heard anything back and it has been over a week. Should I send them another email?

I would call them to follow up. Show that you are really interested.

Send the email. it shows that you are still interested in the position. Sometimes things like salary offers can take a long time. It has to go through so many people. email them, just in case.

As an employer,I would recommend following up with a phone call verifying they recieved your email and ask if they have any questions or concerns. Let them know you have a real interest in this position and if you are flexible on your salary requirements.

it rather is probable ineffective; yet i might propose which you telephone them to get this cleared out. they gained't respond on your emails. Ask them what has happened while you evaluate that they had promised to get returned with you - and you stay very attracted to this risk. maximum in all risk, they're going to the two hem and haw, or be uncomplicated adequate to assert that they chosen somebody else. regrettably, it rather is the way a impressive style of human beings perform. they might have seen you a impressive candidate, yet they choose one or 2 above you. So, they're going to interview and/or enhance promises to their favorites first. they're going to lead you on with imprecise statements and fibs till the two one among their favourite applicants joins them - or the others wash out for some reason, and then they're going to touch you.
