Boys participated in the sport contest. 1/3 of them payed football, 1/5 played basketball, 1/6 jumped and ran. By which part runners exceeded football players (or were less)?

This would be comparing fractions:
Compare runners (1/6) to football players (1/3).
Let's have them both on the same denominator:

Runners (1/6)
Football players (2/6)
So, football players were 2/6, compared to runners, 1/6. The football players were twice as much as the runners.
