Hello Everyone,

I bought my XBOX 360 when it was brand spanking new to the world. I noticed it had this problem from the start, all games (and yes they are/were new) would give me an "Disc is Dirty and Undreadable" message. This would most often happen during the middle of gameplay, and of course it was during heated gameplay.

Is there a way to fix this? If I were to buy a new one to replace it, how could i transfer all my saved games, and achievements?

Thanks for all your input!

Our 360 will always just freeze during a game. We found that this happened after we downloaded the mandatory Fall Update. Anywho, after it freezes the one time, it's usually fine for a while after that. Sometimes we turn it on and then just pull the plug right away.....I don't know, it sucks.
I hope you got a warranty. We got one, but we're waiting for them to release better ones w/o all these problems, hopefully.

My brothers Xbox 360 did this, we rang up Xbox customer services [It was still under warranty] and were sent a replacment 360 [Had to send the faulty one back of course] after trying to resolve the problem ourselves.

However, we could only save certain things on the Memory card and had to send the Hard Drive back. This has happened twice to him now and its frustrating to loose a years worth of gaming.

there's no distinction between the Elite and Arcade variations of the Xbox 360 aside from the colour. So it could be extra much less costly to purely purchase the 120GB puzzling force and stick that on there. till you % the black console, then decide for it yet thats somewhat some funds.

I am not sure about transfering saved games but you should either try to get it fixed of buy a new one. Mabey you could like email Microsoft and ask them about Transfering data.
