You will need to do a survay of all the food shops and offices in the area where you want to start. Then you would need to ask people in that area if they like the idea. That is to show the bank that their is a demand for your product in that area. Once you have done that you will need to work out how many sandwiches you will sell in a day and in a year. What will be the cost for your ingrediants, rent and staff. This is what the bank wants to know.

Business plans are very important - they are the key to obtaining your financing. There are a number of sources on the internet, but if you are having problems, sometimes it is very useful to work with a business planning consultant who can help you design your business as well.
Here is a great article for you: Write a Business Plan - Nah! I Can Do That Myself (and Why You Shouldn't) http://www.articleshut.com/index.php?page=article&article_id=27056
You are entering a competitive area that has a low pricing structure so you have to rely upon volumes. Good location will be your prime requirement.
Good luck

You can google 'business plans' and it will give a list of resources. There is also business plan software, costs about $85, the step-by-step on the software isn't very good, but it acts as a link to a repository of business plans that are used as examples. The examples were more valuable.

Go to your local authority. They'll probably have some sort of course, or source of advice, for people such as you.
