Bisexual is having sexual attraction to both sexes.
Like any other sexual orientation, it has nothing to do with actual relationships, who you are willing to have a relationship with, who you feel an emotional connection to, or anything of that nature. It's only about sex when you're defining 'bisexuality'.

First off, being bisexual does not mean that you're a super horny person, that just depends on the person. Sexual Orientation and how horny a person is have nothing to do with one another.
A bisexual person is someone who is sexually attracted to both sexes. They are a people who can admit that both males and females catch their eye. Most bisexuals however will probably lean one way or the other but that doesn't mean that they completely stop getting attracted to one sex.
Bisexuals are open to the opportunities of love without gender being an issue.

To me it means that your are willing to go all the way with both sexs and have a realtionship with both. I say this as a bisexual

If you are attracted to the same sex but not the opposite sex, then you are gay (if you're a man) or a lesbian (if you're a woman), not bi.
If you are attracted to both sexes, you are bi.
