I'm doing a project and not shore if it eats necor or something else... i know that when it is a larva it eats plants... So what does it eat when it's a "Adult Butterfly"?

Mostly nectar and that's why there are actually mixes of flowers which attract butterfiles. Some are so short lived that they eat basically nothing at all.

Larva don't eat plants, they are still
developing...Caterpillars eat different
types of plants. Butterflies eat with
their Proboscis(tongue) their favorite
plants are Asters, Cosmos, Thistle,
and Bottle Brush. Nectar is right.

It mainly eats nectar through pores in the bottom of its feet.
