May is a great time to visit Tampa. It will be warm (mostly in the mid 80's F, some low 90's), and mostly sunny. Haze and clouds come late in the day. The beaches are great, and it is a central location to see and do lots of the Florida attractions.

Good luck and have fun!!

It rains every afternoon in July, August September because it is so humid. Hurricane season is June-November. May is pretty nice. So are Feb, March and April
