Although I enjoy some material possessions and heirlooms there is nothing that I can keep forever. Whether I sell them or not. If my child had cancer and I needed money I would sell anything. Coffins don't have pockets.

There isn't anything material that I own that I would not sell for the right price. I still have an earing box that my mom had for years when I was growing up. I took it when I left for college. Although there has been more weed in it than earings since then. It holds a lot of sentimental value, but for the right price. I would let it go.

I c an't think of any material object that I would not sell if somebody offered me at least enough to replace it LOL. My dogs, of course, are a different matter. But they don't count because they are NOT my "possessions" They are my children, my beloved companions, and no amount of money could "buy" them from me. Any inanimate object, though, whatever it might be, anyone is absolutely welcome to make me an offer. If the price is right, it's yours - er, but that's cash on the barrelhead, lol. No checks.

Material posessions don't mean that much to me. But I'd never sell my dogs (even though they are not a material posession anyway).

Jewelry that my grandmother gave to me 20 years ago. It's not worth anything, just costume jewelry, but it reminds me of her, and of times we spent together when I was a child. Those memories, to me, are worth more than anything.
