(√3+5)(√3-3)

Using FOIL, multiply the FIRST terms, the OUTER terms, the INNER terms, and the LAST terms:
= ((√3)(√3) - 3(√3) + 5(√3) - 15)

Simplify the radical multiplication and add the √3 coefficients:
= ( 3 + 2(√3) - 15)

Add the integers and pull out a common factor of 2:
= 2(√3 - 6)

Hope this helps ;)

Let's multiply:
(√3+5)(√3-3) = (√3*√3)+(5*√3)-(3*√3)-(3*5) =
3+5√3-3√3-15 = -12+2√3
