Wow. Somebody has been taking lessons at the foot of the AntiChrist.
By the Left's radical behavior and the 60's Nazis approach to our troops, I would have thought it was the other way around. Arkin, a Democrat, said on NBC that our troops deserve to be spit on and the Left is physically attacking recruiters on the campuses.
Remember, FDR and the Democrats of the 40s had no problem with what Hitler was doing. Eugenics was very highly politicized and had a very strong platform in the Democratic Party until the end of the WWII when our troops liberated the Jews in the concentration camps.
FDR and the Democratic Party did not declare war on Germany. Germany declared war on us when we declared war on Japan.
The left wing is far more supportive of fascism than the Right ever has been.
Terrorism is the clearest form of fascism today. The current administration seeks to eliminate that form of fascism, the Left on the other hand seeks to protect and spread it under the guise of free speech. Watch the current Congress under Pelosi and the actions of the ACLU.

Fascism always comes from the left. Leftist be live that government can solve all problems and seek to grow government to a size that would invade all aspects of our life. Those on the right seek a smaller government that would be Less consered with the daily aspects of our lives and more consered with doing for the individual what they can't do themselves (coining money, building roads and schools, providing a national defense) Remember Hitler was the head of the national socialist party of Germany (nazi) not a Conservative with Conservative ideas

Read "The Plot Against America" by Philip Roth and "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. Fiction, of course, but their stories illustrate in quite credible detail how fragile our liberties really are. Both were bestsellers.

A large part of fascism is the government taking the property of private citizens "for the public good".
The only person I've heard suggest that lately has been Hillary Clinton's proposal to "take" oil company profits "for the public good".
I don't think it'll work, and I don't think fascism will enter, no matter how hard she tries.

Nazism is far from "right" wing. Nazi's are national socialist. Think national socialized health care for example.
The Nazi's and fascist have more in common with liberals in the democrat party.
Look at these examples.
Both support national socialized health care
Both attacked smokers and made laws banning the practice
both support national socialized education
both attacked "war profiteers" like Haliburton
both support social security
both support minimum wage
both are against capital gains
both demand higher taxes on large corporations
both are against large stores like Wal-Mart supporting 'small traders"
both are for taking of property for "common purpose"
both are for gvmt censorship of radio (Fairness Doctrine)

wow, what a pointless post. I think you need to go back and read history, then read political philosophy and determine exactly what fascism is, then sit down and ask a question that at least makes a bit of sense.

I am concerned re: George Bush's willingness to disregard the constitution as they are creeping up and knowing what people are up to in their individual lives. Now its suspected terrorists, tomorrow it will be those who don't share his political beliefs.
