The lyrics just simply means that if they're the enemy of society, so be it, as long as their different and not part of the mundane mass. The numbers have no significance. And to the people saying things about them trying to be a satanist, satanism doesn't recognize the importance of numerology like other religions, 666 is a christian creation, not a satanic one and the number holds no meaning to satanists. So b4 u start talking ****, check your facts.

555= humans
666= Devil

basicly means if you're the human then i'm the devil

Slipknot wrote that song because the media(i think) kept annoying them so they said that if the media asking for something from them, then that means they(slipknot) are one spot higher and get to have decisions for themselves.

that's a good question.

in general i think there is a culture of people that are are religious but enjoy being "bad"--they aren't satan worshippers but they like that beast imagery for some reason or another. . (I'm an atheist, but i know people that fit into this category) They like metal that references satan or is anti-religion, stuff like that, that doesn't agree with christianity- though they are still christians. does that make any sense?

i know i didn't answer your question, cause i don't know the specific reason for those particular lyrics. i like that song though. hah.
