"Midnight Express": a bunch of lies?

Question

Anybody watched the video of Billy Hayes interviewed by a journalist on "youtube" (search for "Midnight Express")? Amazing...What do you think?

Can't speak to the interview, but I was stationed in Turkey in 1973-1974. The kids that the movie was made about were incarcerated in the Turkish prisons during that time. Our base chaplaincy would periodically take clothes, money, and food to these kids to use not only themselves, but to help buy favors from the prison guards to keep them alive.
