Its not because she stood by his side that she looks strong. You have to "read between the lines".
She kept her disappointment to a minimum, hid her feelings, pushed emotions down and held onto him because it was in her best interest in the long run.
If she had left him, what would it do for her. Besides get her out of a loveless marriage.
Instead she stayed, put on a happy face and is about to possibly be the next president and the FIRST woman president of the US. Hiding your emotions takes a VERY strong woman. She had an agenda and she has almost completed it, by dragging her cheating hubby along by his testicles. She pushed him where he needed to be, rode his coat tails, then when its all done she will have the power and he will be the "*****". I say its Justice.

For a woman so mistreated and humiliated, as you say, she sure does know how to work it all to her advantage. She is a senator, for crying out loud, and she is a presidential candidate. IF she were to win the presidency, she would have much more respect than her husband, because she would be the first woman president, but also because she succeeded DESPITE her husband. I personally do not like Hillary Clinton or her husband, but I think she is very cunning, smart, and knows how to work things to her advantage. I think Bill has NOTHING on Hillary. She is the stronger and better person in that relationship. He looks like a buffoon compared to her, in my opinion.

Any woman who has been married longer than a "Britney Spears 35 hour marriage" will tell you that marriage is HARD. Very hard! There are a lot of ups and downs and infidelity is a problem for a lot of people. So many women can relate to her choice esp. when you have at stake...children, money etc...

It is harder to stay in a marriage and work on it, then it is to walk away. And everyone expected her to walk away, and chided her for not walking away. Making it even more difficult, especially since it could have worked against her in her campaign. She upheld the sanctity of her marriage, and as someone about to get married, I respect that a hell of a lot more, then my parents divorce...

It takes a stronger person to walk away from a fight then someone who weakens and gives in to it.

I think the relationship between a married couple is their own business and none of yours or mine.
You obviously haven't been married.

I understand from very good sources that both of them strayed. Perhaps they have a "open" marriage. That would go well with their political ideologies.
