One of my back tires is wearing in a diagonal cupping pattern and my mechanic said that it is because the struts are shot and the tire is bouncing as it travels down the road.

350 per strut. Gee I am sure he doesn't need the Koni's
Labor for replacing struts will run around 300 bucks. You also need to add alignment to that. around 60. The struts themselves around 75 bucks each. You can do one axle at a time that way it isn't a huge expense all at once.

I sell Monroe struts in Canada. The fronts are $179.00 each (lifetime warranty) or $142.00 (1 year warranty).
The rears are the same price. Of course labor is extra.
This should give you an idea of what you are looking at paying for the parts.

i own a repair shop, and you can have all our of these done and have it re-aligned for around 500 bucks ,the parts aren't that much, and neither is the labor,i sent one out and had it done ,and it was a Nissan sentra and it only cost me 550.00 bucks total tax and all,it doesn't cost a few hundred just to do one,and when you get it back it will drive and feel like a new car again, but its not that expensive to have done, and your very wise to have all of them done at once, its cheaper this way,i do this all the time,i just get so busy that once in a while i have to send one out to a friend of mines shop to get it done, good luck i hope this help,s.
