I am looking for a job in the Summer, And I wanted to know of any downtown jobs in the portland area or Old Port? I am 14 and I would really love to work this summer.

Most all opportunties will require you be 16 years old, but if you find someone who needs help w odd jobs, & personal asst stuff you may just get lucky. Promote yourself to everyone you know & stress you are available all summer to do odd jobs or whatever work someone might need around their home, boat, or..?? You never know who will happen along.
Short of that talk to all of your neighbors & relatives & ask for their help spreading the word you are a hard working young person looking for some type of paying position or odd jobs this summer & keep a high profile about your desire (without being a pest...of course!!)

ive not seen any store in my life that would hire a 14 year old? im 14 as well. all i can do to earn money is to do my own business? though im a girl, but a thing i like doing is making flowers for people's hair... sorry! :) try looking on google though you may find some answers to your question! :D
