I have a 91 Chevy beretta, when I drive there is a knocking sound in the back, which I think may be the shocks need replacing, but the car also kind of jerks and wobble when I drive like as if one tire is bigger than the other ones, but this is not the case because all the tires are 14 inches, does anyone know what the wobble and jerking may come from? also the knocking sound towrds the back of the car? and every time i hit a pothole or a bump at a high speed the car tires kind of turn in the other direction may be I need a wheel alignment? if anyone have any other reasons please let me know, also how much would it be to get these problems fixed?

One thing to do is have the front-end alignment checked. Even if the tire pressure is equal in each tire, an alighment problem would cause the wheel to pull.

You may have an alignment problem, but also get the balancing of the tires checked out. Improperly balanced tires can result in wobbling. Do you have old or new tires? There could be excessive wear.

the sound could b loose exaust or loose stuff in trunk etc...the wobbling i think could b caused by a broken belt in the tire(s)or might need balancing ,hard to tell if not driving the car or seeing it

Your tires might need air or rotating.
