Codine is an addictive drug and you really need to seek help if you are taking them to lift your spirits.
Perhaps have a chat with your doctor or a helpline who will be able to advise you what to do. One thing you shouldnt do though is just stop the paracetamol and codine, you will need to ween yourself off them gradually.
Good luck

Paracetamol is an exceedingly dangerous drug - in only mild over dosage (8 tabs - 4grms in one dose) it can cause total liver failure
