Spiritually, you will judge yourself by your own consciousness. None of us have done more good than bad. The only freedom from judgment is by admitting that you are a prideful sinner and receiving forgiveness from Christ. In that case, your body would be resurrected with Christ and you would return to a new earth with a new body for 1,000 years. If you can accept that possibility, you are truly open minded. If you think that you could ONLY go into the ground, you are close minded.

Some of us go to the fiery furnace, like my wife will. She asked to be cremated.
I will go into the bowels of the earth to be consumed by natural processes and re-incorporated into the living materials of the general eco-system.
Make a will. Then you will know where you are going to go after you die.

We may get re-cycled depending on the way we meet our demise. Make sure you have a donor card and little bits of you may just live on in some other body. You may become part of someone that goes on to win an Olympic medal or something of notoriety, you never know!

When we die, our so-called `soul' body leave our physical body. Most of soul body, who are not devilish bad or enlightened saints , will loiter around and visit their close ones or places for about 7 days. After that, a spiritual traveller will bring them to a judgment hall, whereby they will be judged according to their earthly deeds. If you do more merits (good) or deeds , you will be reborn in differnt levels of heaven. If you do more demerits (bad), you will be reborn in different level of hell. No where - it is just like switching off a light bulb - that's my opinion.
It may seem cynical, but if everyone felt the same way, there would be no suicide bombers, who are promised that they will be rewarded in the afterlife for their sacrifice.

Well, if Jesus knew you and you walked with him, your spiritual being will go to heaven. if you didn't, you will be forced to suffer through the act of death, but never die. either way your physical being will decompose or be cremated.
