If you have kids, wait until they're grown up before bringing more disruption into their lives due to your love life.
If no kids, date when you feel like it.

A person should wait for dating again after divorce atleast for three years to note down all the shortcomings in his own personality and remove them bodily and solely .

AS long as your not vulenerable and subject to jerks. once you got your head back on straight and have the confidence to spot and reject a jerk - you are ready to go. i dated pretty soon after divorce ( got divorced in June and already 4 months pregnant by someone else ) OH yeah but he was a jerk so now im going to be a single mother! see i didnt have my confidence back yet, i shoulda wiated. be careful out there

Most people are dating before the divorce is final, but you shouldn't start until you feel comfortable with it. Good luck

It depends on the person. I waited for about 6 months...but only because I felt ready to move on. I wasn't looking for any serious relationship...just going to dinner and a movie, companionship. However, within two years, I was remarried....and this time, happily.

after the divorce is finale, go have fun, find someone nice that will treat you good but do not get serious for quiet a while.

well my mom and dad have been getting a divorce for a couple of years and she already has a bf. so i would say any time you think you are ready. or you can wait for that purfect guy.

it depends on when you feel like you are ready to jump into the dating scene again. some can do it sooner than others
