if I put a date in a cell, what formula can I use to have the computer give me the date of 10 weeks in the future?

Thanks!

Good question. Here is the answer:

On a cell (let's say A2), type the start date itself. On another cell (let's say A3), type =A2+70 (70 because 7 weeks is nothing else than 70 days). This should give you the answer. Please, do not use spaces in the formula and remember to type the = in front.

The neat thing about dates is they are based on the amount of days since 1/1/1900. So today's date 2/22/07 is actually 39135 (or 39135 days since 1/1/1900).

So any formula can be used that just adds (or subtracts) days for a final date.

FYI 7 weeks = 49 days. On this planet anyway.

1- set both cell for a date

2- insert the formula "=X001+70"

You can put the dates into one column, and then generate the days of the week in a second one.
