I need to change my license and registration from DE to PA. I went on the DMV website and I have all the documents they ask for, except I have no idea what the title looks like. I bought my car new, and kept everything the dealer gave me. I can't find anyting that say "TITLE" at the top.

When would I have gotten the title?

The title is different from the registration right?

How do I get a new copy if I lost it?

The DMV says I need the title to switch the registration. If the bank has it, how do I switch the registration over?

You need to call the bank to get a power of attorney for the tittle if they still have it.

Do you own the car or are you making payments on it? If you are making payments on it, you don't hold the title, the bank does.

If the bank has the title, you should be able to show them the bank information (bill of sale, or bank papers with the loan info on it) and they should work. If they don't accept this, simply ask them what you need to supply. The bank will not give you the title until its paid off.
