Do you think they will actually let meredith die tonight on the show, or will they save her? Last week derek really showed how much he cared for her, but was left completely helpless. Tell me what you think....

It wouldn't be the first time a main character died in a show. they have done it before

they better not let her die!!! I think it will be someone else, the rumor is a character we never expected to die is going to , I think it will be Alex or the Chief.

I don't know. If this was the last season (which I don't know), then I think she could die, and the remaining episodes would be wrapping up the lives of the characters sans Meredith. It would also provide lots time bring in interest for Addison's spin-off show. Then cancel Grey's and focus on the new show. The only reason I think this could be the last season is due to the interpersonal conflicts behind the scenes. BUT then again, if this is NOT the last season, no one would watch the show if Meredith died. That's a tough question

No, I think they'll revive her. However, I think it's really stupid how they played it out for as long as they did. I know it's a tv show, but still, you just can't let a person be dead for THAT length of time in a show and make it seem real after they bring the person back. That was my only qualm about that episode.
While I think it's possible to carry on a show without the main character, I don't think it would work with this particular show.

I don't know! I hope not! Meredith has been pretty much the main person since episode one and killing her off would do so much damage to everyone.
Yeah, it could very well be Addison that dies somewhere in the show. She's doing a Grey's spinoff and I could see her dying...as long as this spinoff isn't centered around "Addion", but a different character.

I bet at the last second she comes back. They are promoting this episode a lot showing Derek crying and Mer on the table. If they kill her off than I'll be sad for Derek and I don't think that he could live through this. The show won't be the same.
