I know they are palying at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in America soon but I was wondering if they were getting back together, or if its just a one off thing. Or even if they are thinking of touring in Britain more specifically Scotland?

I have a Rage obsessed friend who's been telling me a couple of times a day ever since it was announced, that it's not a one off and that they're doing an album, but I'm not sure how true this is. And a magazine I saw said something about 'now they're back together' but this could just be referring to that one concert.

Hope they are, they're ace. Wouldn't get my hopes up for for a Scotland tour though - if they do anything in the UK, it'll probably be Leeds & Reading before they start touring.

I think they are just getting back together for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival but I bet if there is such a high demand for Rage then they will tour once more. Here is what I read in the news: On January 22, 2007, it was announced that the band would be reuniting for the show in California. It has been reported that this is a one-time thing but both De La Rocha and guitarist Tom Morello have not ruled out the possibility of future activities. So who knows what will happen.

The members of Rage Against the Machine say this is a one show only reunion at Coachella. You never know if someone comes up with enough money they may make it a tour. I would keep an eye on music magazines after the Coachella show. Since your in the UK I know you have Q Magazine which usually has the best music and tour info in it.

It's meant to be a 1-off for Coachella - just the show.So there won't be any touring anywhere.Tom Morello has said he's concentrating on Audioslave & Zach has a few side-projects he's in.But i read in an interview somewhere that they aren't ruling out a reformation or a tour in the future.I'd like to see that.I loved RATM when they were on the go!

i'm not really sure. i know that most of the members have disbanded and now play in other widely-known mainstream bands so i doubt they will stay together long if they are getting back together.
