Plus if we wanted, we can choose the slot's available and what suits us best. i would say this would be convenient for people who may not have the time to ring the surgery. This can be the case whilst working in an office. what do you think?

Some health care providers already do this, check with their customer service or administrative office and ask if they have any internet programs in place.

Some doctors have to attend to emergency calls, etc.
Your problem may not be as serious as someone elses. Not each visit is the same length of time and often one must wait.

I tend to call well ahead if possible then ask for which slots are available.

I think internet appointments would not be feasible. Each situation is different.

I think this already happens in some areas, under the Government's 'Patient Choice' agenda. While I can appreciate the advantages for some people, we must remember that many patients simply do not have internet access. Therefore a range of options needs to be available to provide equality of opportunity.

i think it would be a good idea if we could make doctors appointments at all where i live there's a 2 month waiting list to get a appointment
