Please be more specific. Do you mean the constellation Andromeda or the galaxy known as Andromeda (M31)? Or maybe even its namesake, Andromeda of Greek mythology?
The constellation andromeda is a constellation in the northern sky. It's well known for the large spiral galaxy, M31, which is also often called Andromeda. It's a larger galaxy than our Milky Way galaxy, and is the nearest spiral galaxy to ours. For more information, see wikipedia.

The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest galaxy to ours (the Milky Way) at a distance of 2.5 million years.....and is much bigger than our own ours has much more stuff in it -like stars and planets- than Andromeda.
Andromeda can be seen thru an ordinary telescope away from city lights. It's located within the Andromeda Constellation. The galaxy is moving towards us at a rate of about 190 miles per second but astronomers don't know for certain if our galaxies are going to collide with one another or not. If we are to collide, they predict that it will happen in about 3 billion years and both our galaxies will merge to form a more massive one.
Here's a pic of what Andromeda looks like to the naked eye away from city lights:

It's the star that is shaped like a disk at the center of the photo.

I'm a little concerned that anyone would be desperate for information on Andromeda.
Whether you mean the TV show, the galaxy, the constellation, or the Greek heroine - none of these are life-threatening or urgent areas of study.
Why the desperation?

I'm from a planet in the andromeda galaxy. Of course I only know my own solar system at all well. What do you want to know?
