I have traveled in most of the Greek islands Greek karpathos and spetses island are unique .

for one month you can try Crete in Greece. Otherwise island hoping in the Greek Islands. Santorini,Mykonos,Rhodes,Ikaria. Try to avoid being there in August

I don't know about all of the world, but I know few in Europe. Those in Europe are Tenerife (Canary Islands-Spain), Ibiza-Spain and Hvar-Croatia. Pick any of those and you can not miss!!!!

I would go to the greek islands...especially Skyathos, Santorini and Creta.
Malta is also a great choice.
