Can I do it on my own, or do you have to go through someone?

You can learn HTML and create a website in a wordpad document or get software like Dreamweaver, or Front Page, but after you create a website you have to have a server to upload it to which you could use Yahoo's Geocities, or www.tk.tk, there's another called freewebs.com or something. There's a ton of them out there, or if you could find someone they may let you borrow some space on a server they have, or you could buy space.

Get Netscape composer. Input the text and the graphics, and it will generate the HTML code for you.
I do this all the time. Piece of cake!

i donot know wht type of website u want to make......so i am giving u all options

1) IF u donot want and datbase in your website then u just need html and javascript.

2)If u need database then u can go for php.....jsp....or asp....

and for both of them it would be really easy if u make your website by software callled dreamweaver...it really good......
