The same thing happened to me as soon as I found out. This is morning sickness, but it can occure anytime throughout the day. You can eat small meals every 2-3 hours to help alleviate the symptoms. Drinking ginger ale and keeping crackers or something nearby also helps. This usually tapers off after the first trimester (13 weeks). Unfortunately, with me I pretty much had it throughout my whole pregnancy. I pray that you don't end up like that. In the end, when you are holding that beautiful baby in your arms, you think back and say that even though some things sucked, it was all worth the outcome. I wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy.

yup, that's normal. I am 5 weeks pregnant with my third. I always had bad sickness, but this time I just feel sick to my stomach and Im not actually throwing up. it will pass. First time being pregnant is wonderful. Just try not to stress and enjoy all the changes in your body. Just think at the end you will have a wonderful baby

I am a mother of 3 girls and I do have to say yes morning sickness is common for most women. I had it with all 3 of mine and it is a pain, but here is something that helped me and may help you, before you go to bed keep some saltine crackers and water by your bed, and before you get out of bed eat a couple of the crackers, it may help settle your stomach, it did with me. I ate the crackers all the time everytime i felt like I was going to get sick, try that and see what happens.

It's morning sickness hun... Completly normal, wheather you do throw up or just feel like it. As for the getting excited, it will come, you can't make yourself. You just found out a life changing event will take place, give it time, and you will start to bond with the little life growig inside of you, and start getting excited, its just too soon thats all.

Its normal

I don't know why it is but as soon as I found out I suddenly felt sicker (LOl)

I don't know if that's a psychological thing or what??

Only you can get excited for your baby. You will get excited. Its a shock now but when you get the ultrasound and start getting bigger it will become much more real

I wanted to eat SO badly when I had pregnancy sickness. Our bodies get so confused with all the hormones. It sounds very normal to me! Being sick made me really aprpeciate the second trimester!

Maybe, you should have asked this question to your doctor, although majority of women that are pregnant suffer from morning sickness and this is normal, and that it could be that you are so nervous about being pregnant that a majority of it is just only your nerves.

Upon waking up, eat a few soda crackers, this will settle your tummy down. I know it is kind of crummy to eat crackers in bed, but it really helps. You will get into it when your tummy starts to grow. Go out and look at baby clothes and things. Get a book and start picking out names. Look at cute maternity clothes. Congrats!
