i am building a rocket for school and i want to launch it using viniger and bakingpowder but i don't know how much of which to use. anyone got any idea?? or a better one???? plz help!! thx

Well, first off, you use baking SODA, not baking powder. There's a difference.

Secondly, use thrice as much vinegar, by volume, as you do baking soda. Also, add a pinch of salt to the baking soda before you add the vinegar - this helps to reduce the ability of the mixture to trap carbon dioxide (which is the product of the baking soda/vinegar reaction), and makes it more energetic.

1 cup vinegar to 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda is plenty. If the mix isn't strong enough add a little more soda to it. Have fun.
