It's yes and no. There are some XBX games that can be played on the 360, which is a little over 200 games. And there are the majority of the XBX games that can't be played on the 360.

If an XBX game isn't on the list, then it can't be played on the 360.

Yes, certain original Xbox games will work on the Xbox 360. For a complete list, check the website in the source. The site is owned by Xbox, so you know the information is correct. They update it whenever a new game is playable, so check back frequently.

yes the Xbox 360 can play Xbox games. The wii can play Gamecube games. The PS3 can play PS1 and PS2 games.

that is what it says on the side of the box, you need the 399 player not the 299 machine,
you are better off spending the extra 100, you get the HD, wireless controler, and a few other things
