Snape is spot on. The marauders...not so much. They're meant to be the popular, goodlooking, athletic ones (well, Sirius and James are, anyway) but I don't get that from this picture. Might just be a bad pic though.
Anyone else think it would have been a good idea for Daniel Radcliffe to play James? Y'know, since Harry's meant to look so much like his dad. Or am I being weird again?

I think young Snape is a good match to Alan Rickman's Snape but the Marauders with the exception of Peter Pettigrew are horrible. Let's start with James Potter; his hair is brown and he looks kind of dorky. Sirius looks kind of dorky as well. In the book these guys were described as good looking, popular athletes. I don't think the actors fit the image. The picture of Remus Lupin wasn't big enough for me to see. Maybe they'll change the actors for the 6th film.

Soooooooo Good!
I am so Excited about the Next Harry Potter film. I'm a really big fan of the books and although I don't think the films have as much to them, I thought GOF was really good and well made!
I didn't like the OOTP when I first read it, But I have re-read it several times now and I have to say - I Love it!
I can't wait to see how the director will represent things!
I love watching the films - It's like delving into someone else's imagination - seeing how they imagine things differently to you!

I saw the trailer for OoTP in November, and it looks stunning.

I feel that they casted the young Severus rather well.
As for the three out of four Marauders, I don't think that they have casted them very well at all.
James is meant to look like Harry, Sirius needs to look rebellious and dashing, Peter needs to look a bit like Neville, round and barely noticable and Remus needs to look proper but still tired and injured.

Snape looks just as I'd imagine he would as a teen. I can't wait for OOTP to come out! I'm especially looking forward to the scenes with young Snape.

Yeah I agree that the marauders aren't how I expected, but this is only one screencap, I'm sure if they weren't right for the part they wouldn't have been cast. Just have to wait for the film to come.
Teen-Snape looks spot on - the evil git. He is fast becoming my favourite character actually.
