how come everytime i see a porsche 911 on the road, it's driven by an old guy going slow?

Because all the young guys are working FOR HIM, and are driving Honda's because they got big student loans.

yeah i know what ur saying what happened to the american dream with a young tall guy in a suit coming out of a porsche with a nice trophy girlfriend driving a nice fast stylish porsche? now u have old guys with nice cars some still with nice wives cause of the car real freaky u dotn see porsche commercials with old ppl in it u see young men and women in there like sports cars were meant to be driven thats y i made my dad buy me a porsche boxster for my 16 birthday is used but yes i got treated liek gold by staff and peers and i still do cause i got it 2 months ago i juss wanted to be part of that american image even thopguh im afghan.

Welcome to the age of Viagara. Old people are living longer and healthier lives than ever. The guys you see are probably going through mid-life crises and trying to pick up on some biyatches! lol. Plus, the old dudes usually have more money accumulated throughout their lives (i.e. established careers, etc) to afford a porsche 911. I agree: I have seen many old farts strolling around in 911's.

I am one of those old farts that own one of those rarely seen cars. Although, mine is not a Porsche. (Pronounced: "Porsha") or to some "Porsh".
It is obvious by the question that this person is not exposed to drivers who know how to handle cars of this marque and others of a similar status.
I am a 5 time owner of Alfa Romeo's.( Pronounced "Alfa Romao").
There are many cars on the road that have various cosmetic damages to them but how many Porsche's do you see with damage.
If you do see one it is probably driven by a young kid that shouldn't own one. Porsche owners are "together people".

Most old people all have nice cars because after they retire and find out what money they have left over studies show they choose to spend it on a nice car, they drive slow because they are afraid of crashing it, or they cant see well or something

Older fellows usually have more cash to buy them. Older fellows tend to observe the speed limit more than younger dudes.
Albeit any Porsche, as well as any other car, needs to have the 'soot blown out of it'. But older, wiser gentlemen know when and where to do that.

Porsches are expensive. Older guys with a love for the auto can afford it and know their limitations. Young guys don't know any better. Usually their daddy bought it and then they wreck it.

No i do no longer. while my husband and that i've got been given married (he became 24 and that i became 18) he had a lambo, on ideal of three different style new autos. 0.5 his father and mom bought for him and the different 0.5 he did.

many people that buy them buy them for status icons.
That being said, many people also use them on the track (like me), and dont have too much use for driving fast, especially when theres people around, on the street. That being said, its not like im a grandma in my cars either.
