Cut my hair short? I now have longer hair that what you see on my avatar or 360 page. But I noticed that it is a hassle to have long hair with a 5 month old baby and a 3 yr old toddler. My hair is always stuck on my baby's pacifier and on her fingers. My hair just clogged up the bath tub and we had to have a plumber come by and fix it.
I just don't want to do it because I always thought to myself I would never do it because it's such a typical and unattractive Mom thing to do. Can short hair be sexy. I

If you are worried about short hair, then try going shoulder length and see if you can deal with that. Leave it just long enough to fit in a pony tail. If it's still a pain, then go short. Short hair can be easy but I personally think there is more upkeep when it comes to cutting and it always needs to be styled.
Remember, your baby will grow faster than your hair!

1. You should go right now and get checked for hypothyroidism. A symptom of it is LOTS of hair falling out. It is VERY typical for mothers at 5 months postpartum.
2. You have an absolutely gorgeous face that would look great with short hair. You might be pleasantly surprised. However, if you have hypothyroidism, you might lose ALL your hair if you don't start some medication....it takes 6 months to start working.

It can definately be sexy, look at Gwenyth Paltrow when her hair was short... it can be really cute. I keep my hair short too, I have a 7 month old and a 20 month old so when it was long, my kids would constantly pull it...and that hurts. Now, it takes me 5 minutes to throw some mousse in and I'm done. Do it, and then post a new pic!

I didn't cut my hair through my entire pregnancy and by the time my son was born is was pretty close to my waist, and it was so hard to take care of and a newborn. I cut mine to about my shoulders. It was the greatest thing. I loved it. It was so easy to take care of. I didn't have to blow dry it if I didn't have time, but it was still cut so that if by some miracle I actually had time to get prettied up, it looked good.
Short hair can be sexy and it is so easy to take care of.

I decided to cut my hair short just before baby came, and I love it, easier to manage with the little one. But its short and it still falls out, still gets in her hands, on her soother, doesn't matter what it is, its always found somewhere. If your not comfortable in cutting it, then just keep it tied back.

i think you have already answered your own question, by what you see negatively. yes short hair can be sexy. Go to a hair salon that you know and trust. Ask what is best for yourself.

i am one of those who have very long hair, down to my waist. i would never cut it. but i have had very short hair too. in boot camp they shaved my head!! i met my man of 9 years when it was very short.
