I'm quite unsocial and I often have the feeling that everyone's watching me and that I shouldn't do anything wrong. I'm too shy and scared to start a conversation and even with my friends I don't know what to talk about and I feel boring and unwanted.

You need to get out and do things, but in environments where you are comfortable, so sit down and think about things you like to do - reading, working with animals, working with the elderly? Volunteer at the animal shelter, volunteer at the local nursing home or hospital, read to the sick, join a reading group at your local book store. The more you get out and are active the more likely you will meet people, and some of these acquaintances will turn into friends. Also, when you are doing things you like you won't be as concerned about something "watching" you to make sure you do it right. Sometimes these feelings could be a sign of mild depression, depression is a very treatable illness and nothing to be ashamed of, talk to your family doctor or school guidance counsellor about this if it could be something you want to know more about. Good luck and God Bless.

I know how you feel. I've been told that the best thing to do is to make habits that put you in a good setting for socialization. Eat lunch in the same place, make sure people know where to find you. You probably won't progress if everyone thinks your hiding from them.
