I study in Suny and wanna transfer to NYU?

I am studying in one of the sunys as communication major .I wanna transfer to NYU .But My gpa is not that high jus got a 3.0 .. Is there any chances for me to get int there..
I also wanna kno which college are good at communication

Any of them have got to be better that what you are displaying here. If you are going to be a communications major, you should start with good grammar and spelling.

2. Syracuse University
3. University of Florida
4. University of Texas - Austin
5. University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign
6. George Washington University - if interested in political comm.
7. American University in DC

NYU is very competitive, so you will need to present an excellent transfer package including excellent recommendations, excellent essays, and probably high scores on your SATs in order to make up for your relatively low (in comparison to other applicants) GPA. But don't lose faith. I would also suggest speaking to an admissions representative or a faculty member at the communications department. That may help you out a bit.
