Actually it's been said that it's like your subconciousness registers an event a millisecond before your concious part of the brain. Thus you think you've been there already. That's why even when you think you're experiencing deja vu, you never know what's next, even when you try your hardest to know.

when you are in a situation or moment that feels so fimiliar or you have been there that exact second with the exact same ..EVERYthing!You might feel like you dreamt about it happening too!
