If i get braces before i become pregnant- and then i become pregnant and i have to go to dentist appointments, is that ok?

Basically, can you be pregnant, have braces, and keep going to orthodontist appointments?

It should be perfectly safe. Just let your dentist know that you are pregnant or are trying to conceive so they don't give you anything that could harm the baby. Braces don't require any drugs, they just stick to your teeth, but your dentist may suggest to wait until after the baby is born. Check with your doctor just to be sure. Dentist appointments are a must while pregnant. The hormones can mess with your gums. My dentist wants to see me every 3 months while I'm pregnant to keep everything in check.

Yes this is fine because there are no medications involved with getting braces and no major procedures, you basically get the brackets glued on and the wire ran through the brackets and then typically every month you go back to have the wire and bands changed. My daughter has had braces for the last 5 months, and everytime we go in to see the orthodontist it takes about 15 min. nothing major that would effect your pregnancy

Yeah my mate did, as long as you tell the dentist you are pregnant then its fine. I had braces and nothing was used that would harm baby any how. Good luck x

Sure...as long as you aren't having x-rays...your teeth are sensitive during pregnancy so it won't be overly comfortable.
