I'm doing a Lincoln Douglas debate, and I need to know NOW-please-what a value is. If the resolution has anything to do w/it, then my resolution is: The presence of hormones in meat and dairy products is harmless to consumers.
Thanks ever so much!

One interpretation of a value is that is it a core unchangeable opinion that a person holds and cannot be convinced to change.

A belief is the easiest to change: I believe that peanut butter is unhealthy.
An attitude is more difficult to change: I just don't like peanuts

And a value cannot be changed by the persuasion of others: Unhealthy foods are self-destructive and they should not even be offered to people.
