okay ive been popular since elementry school..i have no reason why...i guess its cuz i always get placed in classes with the "cool kids" im in highschool now. i go to an urban school {i moved out of state} so its kinda hard to be popular there but somehow i always get wih the popular kids.. well this time im in a group of 5 " im the leader" if you ever watched the movie mean girls its kinda like that but were black...everyone says were mean and snobby and we walk through the hallways like we own them...but im not like that im ver nice..i guess everyone judged me cuz of the group i am in....wen we walk around school kids are like afraid to look in our eyes and they walk in dirt so we can walk on the ground..but idk its so weird im not even like that i just want to make friends with everyone to have more friends in highschool...but im a big shy to...and i love my friends so i dont wanna lose them..but does anyone have any tips on how to be popular in a more posotive way?

you need to let the other people know that you and your friends are not snobby, maybe you can go up to someone who is in your class, with out your other friends so its not so intimitating and just say hello and give them a compliment, just show people, a few at a time that you really are good people, a"ctions speak louder than words", and you can prove it

Start by talking to more people during class (without interrupting the teacher, that is!) Give people direct eye contact and say hello with a smile on your face as your walking between classes or with your friends. You don't want to lose your friends but that doesn't mean they're the only friends you're allowed to have or hang out with. Being shy and reserved can sometimes be misconstrued as snobbish- A smile is universal language and goes a long way! Start with that!

well u should try 2 hang with the populer kids there fore u meet more people.because popluar kids know lots of people right
