No, my husband is another one. He's the best. He's my hero. I wake up every day, after all these years, and feel blessed.

I think there a lot of very happily married couples out there! We just don't hear about them because what the media shows us. Husband killed pregnant wife, and married a younger woman, etc.
There is also the pressure to get married, as well. A lot of young couples feel that pressure from their parents, society, etc. As much as society has changed, there is still pressure to be married before you live together. (I am property manager and some other management companies will not allow couples to live together unless they are married). With this pressure, comes the fact that maybe the couples were not ready, and not the ones for each other, and found that out the hard way.
It's sad, and I hope that someday I will be among the lucky ones who have a very happy and successful marriage!

Remember that this category is called Marriage & DIVORCE. Many of the Questions and responses are not going to reflect marital bliss. Happy marriages are wonderful things and should be treasured every day. However those who have challenges in their marriage will be posting or responding here. To evaluate the state of marriage by what is posted here would be errant.
Revel in your marital contentment, and do not give concern to those not as fortuante as you. Also do not try to measure your marraige by those described here. You will only invite unhappiness.

I am happily married in a monogamous relationship for 28 years.
It just seems like we might be some of the few on Answers.

Everyone has there ups
the question is do you know his downs
me and my husband have a great marriage and we know each other that doesn't mean it is bad it means we know each other.
Some people have problems and come here for answers and to see that they are not the only one.
And some people marry before they know the truth about their man.
but i am in your club
I have been with some bad guys and I wish I could have come here to ask questions then, maybe I would not have taken their **** as long as I did

Nope, my wife is married to one of those too.
I can't even imagine a circumstance in which I would even be tempted. I have everything a man could want. And it only gets better as the years go by.

No you are not the only one. I am! My man doesn't cheat and he loves me very much. But there is a catch. He drinks way too much. He can't cheat when he's passed out on the couch!!!!
When it seems too good to be true, it usually isn't!
