Your perception on what is old changes the older you get. When I was 16, 21 was old. when I was 21, 30 seemed older than old. When I turned 35 a few months ago 50 all of a sudden didn't sound very old at all. I know this, I would like to Be alive until at least the age of 80. I have to say though that as long as you get around good, don't wear a diaper and can remember the day before then you are not yet "OLD".

According to Eric Berne all human beings are born with three ego states- parental, adult and child. What ever ego state is largest, decides the mental age of the person so even a child who thinks and behaves like an adult is old- old for his age and when the body refuses to act then a person is physically old

I don't plan on being old until I'm 85! I also plan on still having all my teeth, wear high heeled sandals, and drive a purple convertible! I'll drive all the guys in the retirement community crazy!

I spoke to a 95 year old lady, she was sick and in hospital with a ilness. Her body was not crash hot, but like me who are close to 60, we would consider our selves as just a recycled teenagers! So you tel us, whati s old?

For me 80 is old. My parents are 77 and 80 and they are just now acting old to me.*

were I work I'm considered old I'm in my 40's cause even my boss is in her early 30's . . . . in my circle of friends I'm one of the youngsters cause most of my friends are late 40's and up . .
I say 40's is still considered old . . .
