well birth control pills regulate your period, so you will have to wait until your body gets back onits regular schedule. If you don't have your cycle by the time February is over please consult your doctor. Pregnancy tests are only effective a week after a missed period. If hasn't been 29 days since your last so you won't be able to tell if you are pregnant until after that time.

When I went off birth control the first time, for my first baby, my periods were right on schedule...never missed a day until pregnancy.
This time around, I was off the pill 3 months before conceiving, and my period came a day later each month. Not that far off, but it was a day late :)
wait a couple days and if there's still no period, take another test. Try and do it with your morning pee, or just a really concentrated pee through the day. There will be more of the pregnancy hormone to detect.

Always wait 5 weeks from the first day of your last period to waste money on those prego tests.

They say they are 99% accurate, but it doesn't apply if your HCG levels are still too low to be detected. It is a little deceptive how they word things.

I got pregnant 45 days after I stopped the pill, and had been on it for about 8 years.
