we actually own 2 guns (not currently in our possession as the military will not ship guns overseas in a PCS). i was hell bent against it, especially given that i was pregnant when we got them (our son is now 18 months). the rule is that there will be a top quality gun safe with a combination lock and the bullets will be kept separate from the guns in a locked safe with a hidden key (or another combo lock).

I own a gun (20 gauge shot gun). My husband has a total of 9 guns 2 of which are pistols. And of course with the proper knowlege and training these guns are in our home hidden, and locked, away from sight, only to be brought out during hunting seasons, target practice and clay pigeon shooting.

I don't think that guns should be allowed to be owned by anyone. Not even cops. They should ban them and destroy them all. That way kids can quit accidently killing other kids. And family members could not shoot and kills other family members when they play a joke on them. But there should be other methods of protecting ourselves. The cops should give every women in the world mace spray, and small shocking devices that would not kill but give them a change to escape bad people and get the proper authorities time to get the bad people. And I guess it would be all right for guns to be properly stored in every county by authorities to give out in times of war that hit that particular areas.

I very own 50+ weapons, 13of that are ak variations, 6 are ar15's some handguns, and a criminal sten and a team of different no longer so "evil looking" weapons. NONE have killed absolutely everyone, properly I incredibly have an previous russian sniper rifle im specific in all hazard has yet that replaced into over 60 yrs in the past,,,,, ww2. human beings consistently say that the weapons arent nessesary, time have replaced. IM SORRY maximum of our parrents and grandparents have witnessed genocide after gun administration. cases have not replaced AND history REPEATS ITSELF, they might ban weapons whilst they get rid of their very own, then we flow lower back to throwing rocks and spears. why regress, in 50 years weapons would be out of date and a extra effectual extra efficent murdering gadget will come alongside, consistently has consistently will

We have a Gun History Month?
No, I don't own guns and my husband and I do not allow them in our home. We do not believe we need them to be safe.
I support the right of trained, licensed hunters and sport shooters to own sporting rifles...not handguns, not automatic weapons and not exploding ammunition. Our Constitution's much-abused second amendment does not give us unlimited freedom to shoot every damn thing in sight.

I own a gun and guns are not evil, the people who use them for evil purposes are the problem. In the northeast (among many places) we use our guns for hunting, its tradition.

I don't like guns I shot one and it scared the crap out of me. My bf wants to get one and keep it in the house, that doesn't bother me. He is a very responsible individual and he would keep it locked up.
So I completely agree with you, its up to the individual.
