I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FS770/W 15.4" Notebook PC (Intel Pentium M Processor 750, 1024 MB RAM, 100 GB Hard Drive, DVD+R Dbl Layer/DVD+/-RW Drive). I'd like to purchase another gig of Ram, but I have no idea what to buy. Could someone provide me with the *exact* product? A link to the product with an option to purchase it would be great. Thanks!

Thanks for all the answers. Now I'm a bit more confused. I went to www.crucial.com, put in the data for my specific pc, and it said: If your notebook has 1GB of memory installed, you cannot upgrade the memory.

So--that's it? Not possible?

(To answer one of the questions, the video editing software I installed says I don't have enough RAM for it to work properly--that's why I wanted to buy more.)

you need to puchase ddr ram. tigerdirect.com usually has the best prices. your laptop has two 2x512 MB memory if you remove one of these to install a 1024 you will have 1536 MB RAM, not 2048 MB.
