i want to get a new AIM screen name without having to either cancel my current subscitption or open a new subscription?

you don't have to you just register under a different screen name/account... quite easy actually...

haha i think its funny that you ask a question about aim on yahoo questions. ill send you the link. roll over 'services' and it says at the bottom of the drop down menu ' get a screen name'

if you're worried about having to redo your entire buddy list, aim now has a feature where you can save your buddy list to your computer enabling you to load it from a different SN. so just save your buddy list, create a new SN and then load your old buddy list.
