Tony Dungy's hometown if Jackson, Michigan is considering re-naming his old high school (now a middle school) from Parkside to Tony Dungy Middle School. This also would honor his late parents who were excellent educators in town for years. I think, considering what a great role model he is besides a great coach it would be appropriate. What do you think?

I wouldn't mind it, but it seems kind of early to do something like that. He had a great season this year with the Colts and a Super Bowl win, but it's not like he's the greatest coach ever...YET.

Again, I wouldn't mind it and it helps that his parents were educators there too. He is a very good role model. I go to school with one of his nephews.

Yes, he has 1. Won a Superbowl, 4 of them.2. It is awesome3. I love the colts4. Tony Dungy Has came over a ton... like he was gonna be a quarterback but since he was black and noone wanted him to be a QB, he was a DE. He has went thru a lot being a head coach and not winning a SB.

Maybe just Dungy MS would be better. And he was a CB for pittsburgh (a nickelback to be specific), not a DE.

Name it after the parents. I believe that places like schools shouldn't be named after a person unless they are either retired or dead.

I think it is a great idea especially since his parents were educators.
