when typing an email a message returned saying the host POPS3 coould not be found.please verify you have entered the server name correctly.account POPS3 protocol:SMTP port 25.secure (ssc)no socket error:11001 error number:0x800ccc0d.........if anyone can speak pc language could u please help me

make it pop3 not pops3

It means your email program could not connect to the email server for downloading emails.
If could be your internet connection was down for a short while.
If it still does not work, I would check with your ISP.

Your email client isn't configured properly for your ISP's mail servers.

ask your isp the name of your incoming mail server & whether it is IMAP or POP. and ask them the name of your outgoing mail server. when you get this info, make sure your email program is configured with these address'
