It is difficult to say but could be done very easily with bots and word editing software that would build up a 'following' or a majority of responses favorable to the blog in order to sway public opinions. My rule of thumb is to disbelieve anything I see on a blog until I have verified the info by other means and to carefully weight everything I know against what the unstated interests of the bloggers might be.

I don't know about an actual %, but as a marketing tool politicans, corporations etc.. do occasionally post things supposedly "from an unbiased source" that push products or ideas. Some that start rumors etc.. to stop other products or politicans.
