If you do not have a a 3.5 drive in you computer, you can buy a USB floppy drive, then copy your file onto CD. you also need a CD R/W to be able to write to CD. Cd's are not like 3.5 diskettes, unless you have a R/W you can only write to it once on a -R or +R style. With a R/W, depending on your software, it will overwrite anything on the CD, it does not carry on and fill, like a hard or floppy drive.

put the 3.5 in the drive bay, open the drive in "my computer" (marked 3.5 in floppy) copy and paste the files to the Desktop, remove the floppy, insert a CDR, open the software for copying (Nero or whatever) and select the "create a data disc" option, then follow the on screen prompts.

First you'll have to find a computer with a disk slot and a CDdrive on it (not easy these days). Once you find one, put the disk in, open it in explorer (right click on my computer) and drag the files to your CD and copy them.

nope, just tape the disk to any blank cd and put it into your cd rom drive.*
* i was being sarcastic. copy the disk to the pc and use a cd burner to burn the files to a cdr or cdrw disk.
